Olive Branch officials warn of damaging winds, possible tornadoes Sunday
Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments warned Sunday that a line of thunderstorms could bring damaging winds and quick spin-up tornadoes to the Mid-South Sunday afternoon and evening.
The agencies said the storms will move through with a cold front, increasing the risk of severe weather, according to a joint post from the mayor’s office and the two departments.
The post urged residents to stay tuned for updates and to remain weather aware.
Officials recommended monitoring local forecasts and the departments’ official channels for the latest information.
