Olive Branch Airport sets monthly operations record
Aug. 6, 2025 – The Olive Branch Airport reached new heights in July, setting an all-time record for monthly aircraft operations, according to Mayor Ken Adams.
The airport logged 13,136 operations during the month, breaking its previous high of 10,991 operations set in October of last year.
The milestone comes as the city-owned airport continues to see increased activity, particularly among private and corporate aircraft.
One standout day came on Tuesday, July 29, when the Olive Branch Airport recorded 745 aircraft operations—nearly 100 more than the 650 logged that same day at Memphis International Airport, according to Adams.
“This kind of growth is a strong indicator of Olive Branch’s role as a key aviation hub in the Mid-South,” said Adams. “It’s exciting to see our airport not only thriving but even outpacing larger facilities on certain days.”
The Olive Branch Airport is one of the busiest general aviation airports in Mississippi and serves as a key reliever for Memphis-area air traffic.
