OACEUS brings a new way to wellness

In the competitive business world where employers look to maximize profits while minimizing expenses, retaining employees is crucial to accomplishing that. In that effort, the benefit package offered to the employee becomes vital to hiring and maintaining talented staff and associates.

Benefits are important in attracting new employees who may be choosing between different offers.  Health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off contribute to employee satisfaction and satisfied employees are more likely to stay with the company. They also provide financial security that can increase employee loyalty.

Flexible working hours, remote work options, and parental leave contribute to a better work-life balance, making employees less likely to leave. Health-related benefits lead to healthier employees. Healthier employees are more productive and less likely to leave due to health issues.

Offering great benefits can actually provide cost savings in employee retention because it costs money to retrain new employees and a production level may drop while companies get their new hires “up to speed.”

All that means it’s to a company’s advantage to offer a benefits program that is the best for their employees at the least expense to the company.

More businesses are looking at a new program from OACEUS, which works to provide a wellness plan that addresses three areas: physical, mental, and financial, all in one program.

OACEUS calls it their 360° Wellness Plan.  The plan is set up to address those areas and for businesses that qualify, OACEUS can implement the wellness plan for your company at no net out of pocket cost to the employer or employees that qualify.

Blake Jones is a local representative for OACEUS and says more small business owners, companies and school districts are looking at OACEUS as a benefits program for their employees, even complementing current benefits for a greater advantage to both employee and employer.

“My company is in the market where they can apply secondary type stuff to it,” Jones said. “ The reason secondary is appealing is because we don’t want to change anything about what they have going on right now. It’s an add on to what they have going now we’re, we’re not going in to cancel, change, mislead or misdirect any owner or superintendent. We want to help them with what they have going on now.”

Jones said his interest in OACEUS came through another venture he is involved in.

“The way I got into this branch of business was from the contacts in my Merchant Services industry my wife and I own,” Jones said. “I’m picking up steam meeting with city boards, school districts, superintendents, and county representatives, as well as small business owners.”

OACEUS states its program addresses not only healthcare, but financial management challenges. Basically, the 360° Wellness Plan creates a product that delivers everything employees want and nothing they don’t.

In today’s business world where as of 2020, the median number of years that wage and salary workers had been with their current employer was 4.1 years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, it’s important and cost-effective to offer benefits that will keep highly-prized talent working instead of looking for other opportunities. OACEUS believes it offers that program.
