Meeting scheduled on Pleasant Hill Road improvements
The City of Olive Branch will hold a public meeting regarding the Pleasant Hill Road improvements from south of the intersection at Church Road to south of State Highway 302. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024 from 5-7 p.m.
The purpose of this project is to reduce congestion and improve pedestrian mobility on Pleasant Hill Road through additional travel lanes and new sidewalks in the project area, while minimizing potential impacts to the natural and human environments.
The meeting is being conducted as part of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Study to give interested persons an opportunity to express themselves concerning the project location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements.
Participants may attend by going to the Olive Branch Senior Center, 8800 College Street,Olive Branch on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 5-7 p.m. The in-person meeting location will allow participants to view the meeting materials and speak with subject matter experts.
