Man hurt in car-truck crash
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating an accident with injuries in Marshall County east of Olive Branch Tuesday morning.
Troopers were called shortly before 7 a.m. to the intersection of state Highway 302 and Highway 309 at Barton after a Mack truck driven by Larry Bass, age 64 of Ripley, collided with a Chevrolet Impala driven by Ryan K. Dunn, age 44 of Olive Branch.
According to the Highway Patrol, the truck Bass was driving was westbound on Highway 302 when it collided with the Dunn vehicle attempting to make a left turn onto Highway 309.
Bass was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville, Tenn. with non life-threatening injuries. Dunn was released at the scene
