Let It Fly Silo Square construction continues as another location closes

It appears the sports bar and grill concept of former Memphis Grizzlies star Mike Miller called “Let It Fly” is still on track for Silo Square in Southaven. However, one of the other Let It Fly locations in the Mid-South has permanently closed.  

According to a report in the Commercial Appeal, the Let It Fly location on Poplar Avenue in Germantown closed for good on Sunday, Dec. 31.  

The bar and restaurant opened in 2019 in the StoneCreek Centre Shopping Mall. A 10-year lease on the property was taken and five years are remaining in the lease.  

Construction continues on the Let It Fly location off Getwell Road in Southaven with its opening planned for summer of this year. Golf simulator bays are included in the building along with food and drinks.

Miller, a native of South Dakota, also has Let It Fly locations in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and in Omaha, Nebraska.
