Operators Tolbert and Valenzuela spent the week earning Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) certifications in Pearl, Mississippi, the agency said.
The agency said TACs are responsible for ensuring compliance with National Crime Information Center (NCIC) policies and procedures, validating records and overseeing terminal security in the dispatch center, among other duties.
The agency said the operators’ dedication to the training and to developing further knowledge is crucial for reducing agency liability and expressed appreciation for their continued professional growth.
