Jersey Mike’s in Hernando is set to open Sept. 23, according to a post from the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber also announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the following morning, writing, “See you tomorrow morning for your ribbon cutting.”
The post included background on Bill Gallo, saying that as a child he often took the train to Point Pleasant, New Jersey, where the first Jersey Mike’s sub shop was located. It also identified Gallo as a New Jersey native.
