Horn Lake pursuit, crash, results in injuries, arrest

There has been one arrest and a number of people hurt in a crash that happened late Saturday night as Horn Lake police were trying to stop a stolen vehicle. The incident happened near the intersection of Goodman and Tulane roads. 

Police say officers located and tried to stop the vehicle about 9:15 p.m. Less than a minute after the pursuit began, the driver of the stolen car refused to stop and a crash with three other cars and a Horn Lake police squad car resulted.

Those who were in the stolen vehicle fled and escaped, except for one occupant who was apprehended by a Horn Lake police K9. That person is being held but has not been formally charged. 

All parties remaining on scene, including the Horn Lake police officer, were taken to local hospitals. As of early Sunday morning, all were in stable condition.

Identities are expected to be released once formal charges are made.
