Horn Lake man charged with game machine thefts in Memphis

A Horn Lake man is charged with five counts of theft in Memphis. Local news reports said Laderius Stewart, age 43 of Horn Lake, was captured on surveillance video stealing game machines from gas stations at five different locations in Memphis.

Jail information from the Shelby County Jail stated that Stewart is charged with five counts of theft of property valued between $10,000-$60,000. Investigators said the game machines stolen were valued at $10,000.  

The five incidents took place between Aug. 15-19. Stewart was scheduled for a court appearance on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 9 a.m. 

According to the news report, Stewart was captured stealing game machines from the gas stations. Cashiers reported the thefts with the culprit taking the machines to a gray Dodge Ram.
