As Hernando residents continue the cleanup from the early morning storms of Sunday, June 18, a Mayor’s Relief Fund has been established. Storm recovery has been going well, according to city officials, but a small area of the city remains in significant need of help.

That is the reason for the Mayor’s Relief Fund, established through the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi. There is tree work left and along with some repairs to homes.

Associated Wholesale Grocers started off the fund with a significant donation, according to the city.

Donations may be made through the link with the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi at: https://cfnm.org/donate/
