Bricks & Minifigs Hernando opens entries for Spooky Season Community MOC Contest

Bricks & Minifigs Hernando, Mississippi, is accepting entries for its “Spooky Season” Community MOC Contest through Sept. 20. Entry costs $25, and participants receive a free bag of bulk and a baseplate of their choosing to get started, according to a post from the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce.

Community voting is scheduled for the week of Sept. 21-29. The first-place winner will receive a custom-curated set of Spooky Minifigs with a display stand. Second place will receive LEGO set 40883 Halloween Skull Candle, and third place will receive LEGO set 40822 Jack-O'-Lantern Pickup Truck.

Everyone who submits a MOC build by Sept. 20 will also be entered into a raffle for LEGO set 40825 Halloween Wreath.

Contest rules require each MOC to be no taller than 34 LEGO bricks, be the entrant’s own creation rather than an existing LEGO set repurposed, and use 100% LEGO pieces and parts.
