Hernando Dickens of a Christmas will begin Friday, Nov. 13, with an evening of holiday activities and traditions on Hernando’s historic town square, according to the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce.
Ice skating is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by a Christmas tree lighting at 6 p.m. A showing of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is set for 6:30 p.m. Hot cocoa and a food court will be available on Panola Street.
The event will continue Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers listed live entertainment, holiday shopping, folk craft demonstrations, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic trolley tours and children’s activities among the offerings.
