Hernando Chamber welcomes Marcus Black of The Vitalize Co.

The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday that Marcus Black, founder of The Vitalize Co., has joined the organization as a new member, the chamber said.

The chamber said Black, who is also known as M.BlackSpeaks, is a Hernando native who recently moved back to the city with his wife, Rachel, and their sons, Marcus II and Grayson, to invest in the community that shaped him.

The chamber said Black spent more than a decade building a national platform as a TEDx speaker, Amazon bestselling author, Forbes-recognized thought leader and host of The Vitalize Podcast. The chamber said he is returning to North Mississippi to help people, teams and communities “unlock what’s already inside them.”

According to the chamber, The Vitalize Co. partners with organizations and individuals nationwide and locally. The chamber said Black delivers keynotes and team development sessions for companies, schools and associations, and offers one-on-one professional speaker coaching and self-publishing consulting.

The chamber said the message of Black and The Vitalize Co. is summed up by the phrase “Because YOU CAN.”
