Heart health topic of Southaven Chamber luncheon

February is Heart Month and topics of the heart are part of the Southaven Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Business Luncheon this month at the Landers Center.  

The Chamber of Commerce and Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto will present as speakers Dr. Arie Szatkowski, Director of Cardiovascular Service and Dr. Daniel Poor, Medical Director of Emergency Services.  Drs. Szatkowski and Poor will speak on key indicators and preventative measures of cardiac conditions.

Baptist-DeSoto is the luncheon’s presenting sponsor. The DAC (DeSoto Athletic Club) is also a sponsor of the luncheon among many other local businesses. More than 250 business leaders from the Mid-South regularly attend the Southaven Chamber’s quarterly luncheons.  

The luncheon reception will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a catered lunch and the program at 12 noon.  

Tickets are $30 for members/$40 for non-members. Reservations must be confirmed by Feb. 8.
