DeSoto Civic Garden Club members, Rusty Todd (left) and Pat Tennant have been very busy this fall supplying the four planters at the I-55 Welcome Center near Hernando—first with Crotons and exchanging them in November with a variety of colorful pansies.
Admiring the new addition of pansies for the four planters located at the entrance to the building is Vanessa Mitchell, who is the supervisor at the Welcome Center. In horticulture activities such as these, the DeSoto Civic Garden Club hopes to fulfill its purpose in stimulating the knowledge and love of gardening.
