Garden club hears about floral design at meeting

One of the purposes of the DeSoto Civic Garden Club (DCGC) is to stimulate knowledge and the love of gardening among its members and the public in floral design.

In January, DCGC member, Donna Carey, shared her Creative Line design to club members which was held at Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch. Her particular design, which consisted of white spider mums, used a vertical line to place flowers and point them in the desired direction that made a path for your eyes to follow.

The DeSoto Civic Garden Club is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc., and The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc.
