Gale Center Parks Office Short-Staffed; Online Registration Available

March 18 — The Parks & Recreation office at the Gale Center said Wednesday it is short-staffed and cannot field calls or serve in-person customers as usual.

The office apologized for the inconvenience and said online registration is available at https://www.hernandoschedulesstandings.com/. It asked callers to leave a voicemail at 662-429-2688 and said someone will return calls as soon as possible.

The office specified areas of responsibility: Chirby for rentals and general information; Brechin for instructional programs, Young at Heart programming and special events; Carson for youth, adult and Challenger soccer; Williams for baseball, youth and adult softball and t-ball; and Barkley for director-level inquiries, the office said.
