Catfish & Khakis is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Historic Snowden House in Southaven, Mississippi, according to a post by the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce. The 21-and-over event will include dinner, live entertainment and fundraising activities benefiting Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center.
The announced program includes live music by Victoria Pride & Band, a bourbon and wine pull, a cooler pull, a live auction and a new Button of Bravery Wall. The event is sponsored by Sky Lake Construction LLC, the post said.
The chamber said support from the event helps Healing Hearts respond to child abuse and provide advocacy, hope and healing to children and families in DeSoto, Tate and Tunica counties. Seating is limited, and attendees can purchase a sponsorship or seat, according to the announcement.
