Candidates continue to file for municipal primary votes

Here’s the updated list of reported candidates for municipal offices in DeSoto County, as provided by the city clerk’s offices on Tuesday morning, Jan. 12. The filing deadline is Feb. 5 for the April 6 primary election. Any runoffs will take place three weeks later, on April 27. The general election for city aldermen and mayors is set for June 8.
