Apr 21, 2025 – Hampton Thames, CEO and President of Citizens National Bank, has announced the promotion of Addison Lawrence to DeSoto Regional President.
Lawrence has served as Market President in DeSoto County since 2018, helping strengthen relationships and expand the bank’s presence throughout North Mississippi.
“Addison is a dynamic leader who leads with integrity and builds strong connections everywhere he goes,” said Thames. “He represents the best of community banking—someone who understands our customers’ financial needs and works daily to help them succeed. We’re proud to have him lead our efforts in DeSoto County.”
Lawrence holds a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Planning, and a Master’s degree in Workforce Educational Leadership—both from Mississippi State University where he also played football for the Bulldogs before signing with the Baltimore Ravens.
