Big & Rich is Coming to the Heindl Center

Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy are coming to Northwest Mississippi Community College’s Heindl Center for the Performing Arts on Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

As “America’s Country Music Duo” Big & Rich have been making music since the early 2000s. They rose to fame after their triple-platinum album in 2004 with “Horse of a Different Color,” forging their name with a distinct sound.

“Big & Rich burst onto the country music scene nearly 20 years ago, and ‘America’s Technicolor Cowboys’ have been breaking musical boundaries ever since,” Dr. Blake Bostick, director of Heindl Center for the Performing Arts. “We couldn’t be more excited to bring their unique brand of entertainment to the Heindl Center on Oct. 21, and we look forward to having everyone come join the party!”

The duo is made up from Big Kenny and John Rich. In 2003, they formed their group which has made genre-bending country such as their hit “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.”
