Bella is the newest graduate of Driving Ms. Amy, LLC, according to a congratulations post from the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce. She was part of the program’s first group of students, and her family was among the first to register with the company.
Bella’s parents enrolled her in driver’s education even though she was not legally required to complete it, the post said. They wanted to help ensure she became a safe, confident driver. As a homeschool student with limited driver’s education options, Bella’s family entrusted Driving Ms. Amy with the milestone, according to the Chamber’s account.
The post said one of Bella’s biggest challenges was overcoming anxiety and building confidence behind the wheel. During her final driving lesson, she practiced lane changes, checking blind spots, and merging on and off the interstate.
The Chamber said Bella rose to the challenge and did an exceptional job, congratulating her and wishing her “many miles and smiles ahead.”
