Apollo Medical Dispensary holds grand opening Saturday in Hernando

Apollo Medical Dispensary will hold its grand opening Saturday at 12 p.m. in Hernando, Mississippi, the company said.

Organizers said the event will include vendors, a ribbon cutting, crawfish and opportunities to meet staff and take photos outside the dispensary.

The dispensary encouraged visitors to bring picnic blankets to enjoy crawfish on the lawn, saying the weather is expected to be favorable.

Only people 21 and older with a valid ID and a Mississippi medical cannabis card will be allowed inside the dispensary, the company said. Others are welcome to attend the outdoor activities.
