A member said the Southaven Chamber of Commerce continued promoting his business and encouraged him to take on leadership roles, crediting the chamber with helping build the community.

The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce said it will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome Driving Ms. Amy LLC, a new chamber member that provides certified driver education across North Mississippi.

Ashley McCormack will serve as both director and lead actress in the upcoming production of ‘Finding Neverland,’ scheduled for late July and early August.

The Southaven Chamber will recognize the Southaven Chamber Foundation’s Bridge Academy Class of 2026 at its August Quarterly Luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 19, the chamber said. DeSoto County Schools Superintendent Cory Uselton is slated to be the keynote speaker.

The Heindl Center for the Performing Arts will stage ‘Finding Neverland’ July 31 to Aug. 2 in Senatobia, and the center said tickets are selling quickly. Organizers urged patrons to buy tickets online soon.

Organizers said the final Summer Sunset Family Movie Night will show “The Wizard of Oz” about 8 p.m. Saturday, July 18, on the square, with popcorn, drinks and Kona Ice available.

The City of Olive Branch will hold a free Public Safety Night Out on Thursday, July 30, featuring music, demonstrations and a food giveaway, the city said.

The City of Olive Branch is accepting applications for a fleet auto diesel mechanic, Mayor Ken Adams said. Applicants can learn more and view all city openings at the city’s jobs website.

The Olive Branch Farmers Market operates Saturdays from June through September, offering local produce, baked goods, crafts, and more, supporting Mississippi farmers.
