The Olive Branch Police Department thanked Olive Grove Terrace after attending a community breakfast honoring local hometown heroes, the department said in a social media post.

Dr. Anissa Short said she felt “like she was home” when she walked into the Southaven Chamber, the chamber said. The chamber also said Short has been watching DeSoto County grow since 1986 and invited people to comment “HOME” for more information.

The Southaven Chamber will host an official ribbon-cutting for Stewart Plumbing at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, at 1410 Brookhaven Drive, organizers said.
