Southaven’s fifth annual Fallfest draws vendors and more than 25 Steak Cookoff teams

The City of Southaven said its fifth annual Fallfest was a success, reporting favorable weather and a full park. The city also thanked vendors, volunteers and visitors for attending and credited its Parks and Recreation Department for its work.

More than 25 teams from the Southeast region, Iowa and Australia competed in the Steak Cookoff, according to the city. The participants included four world champions, including the current reigning champion.

The two-day event benefited The Hope Center of North Mississippi. The city said the festival shifted across the street because rain was expected on Saturday, but most vendors were still able to participate on the day referenced in the post.

The city congratulated all winners and described the event as a huge success.
