A social media message from the Olive Branch Chamber of Commerce said the Junebug Jamboree continues this week in Old Towne and listed Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams. The post was not available for viewing on the platform.

Mayor Ken Adams, the Board of Aldermen and the City of Olive Branch welcomed James Sisk to the city’s staff, the city said. Sisk will join the General Services Department.

Mayor Ken Adams and the Board of Aldermen announced that Landon Gross has joined the Olive Branch Parks and Recreation Department, the city said. The city said it is “thankful to have you on the team.”

Organizers said vendor spots for the 2026 Hernando festival are filling quickly and urged vendors to apply by emailing chamber@hernandoms.org or calling 662-429-9055.

The Chamber said it has teamed with Tropical Getaways to offer a cruise that will raise funds for the Chamber Foundation. The trip is open to the public and bookings must be made by June 30.

Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams announced a chalk art contest on Saturday, June 20, at the Historic Wesson House, with registration opening at 8 a.m. and the event starting at 9 a.m., the release said.
