Olive Branch Main Street named MMSA Network Community

Aug 23, 2024-At a recent business meeting of the Mississippi Main Street Association (MMSA), the MMSA Board unanimously voted for the City of Olive Branch to be recognized as a Network Main Street Community.

Olive Branch has previously been an associate community member with MMSA.  Hernando Main Street is the only other community connected with MMSA, as a designated community.

Mayor Ken Adams and the Board of Aldermen recognized the City’s Communications Team for the time and effort they put into receiving this recognition. The team will continue to work with Old Towne merchants and business owners to receive the coveted recognition as a Designated Main Street Community.

This program will be led by Community Development Coordinator Kim Terrell, who brings a vast knowledge of the Main Street program from her days as the DeSoto County Tourism Director.

The Olive Branch Old Towne area is starting to see signs of great growth and revitalization through the efforts of property owners who have a vision for the incredible possibilities of this historic area..
