Olive Branch honors 911 dispatchers during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week
Olive Branch officials recognized National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week to honor the city’s 911 dispatchers, Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams said in a city statement.
The statement called dispatchers “the first, first responders” and said they provide reassurance, direction and lifesaving support with every call they answer.
It said dispatchers work day and night behind the scenes coordinating police, firefighters, EMS and public works to ensure help arrives quickly and safely, and that their dedication, professionalism and compassion do not go unnoticed.
In the statement, Mayor Ken Adams said, “Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to our community. We appreciate you today and every day!”
