Holiday basketball action continued Saturday for DeSoto County basketball teams.

Oxford Treatment Center opens Southaven center location

The center is part of American Addiction Centers, a national network of treatment centers.

Shan Whiteside Classic continues at DeSoto Central.

It is one of five clinics in the Mid-South, along with Germantown, Collierville, Millington and Bartlett.

A location at 875 Main Street in Southaven is among the stores that Big Lots will close.

The classic is named for the first basketball coach at DeSoto Central, Shan Whiteside.

Good decisions are made the same way in government.

Police said all of the suspects in the case are now in custody and there is no threat to the public.
