The Olive Branch Police Department named Sgt. Brian McDurmon its Officer of the Month for June 2026 after he led a felony stop and helped take a burglary suspect into custody without injuries, the department said.

Northwest said the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing will conduct a continuing accreditation review of its associate degree nursing program and hold a site visit on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
