The Bar-Kays were named the recipient of the 2023 AutoZone Liberty Bowl Outstanding Achievement Award.

This year’s Bowl game marks AutoZone’s 20th consecutive year as the title sponsor of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

The initial announcement was made earlier Monday morning, April 17 by Bowl Season and Sports Business Journal.

Hugh Mallory has been elected President of the 2023 AutoZone Liberty Bowl Festival Association.

Jerry Lawler will be the guest of honor and will receive the AutoZone Liberty Bowl’s the Distinguished Citizen Award, on June 4.
