Lynn Jones: Love is something you do

When you break it down, it is made up of specific actions. We must demonstrate love in specific things that we do.

It is true that in every job, every community, every home, and every church there are some good things, and we have to learn to concentrate on those.

Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “Love bears all things” (1 Cor. 13:7). Another translates the phrase, “Love knows how to be silent.”

One observer noted that if you have a reputation as an early riser you can sleep till noon. That is probably true.
