Rust College to host President’s Scholarship Gala at 159th Founders’ Week
HOLLY SPRINGS, MS – Tickets are on sale now for the President’s Scholarship Gala: Lighting the Way at Rust College.
A signature event of the College’s 159th Founders’ Week celebration Nov. 2-9, the President’s Scholarship Gala will feature a live performance from Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Howard Hewett, known as the lead vocalist of R&B group Shalamar.
Individual tickets are $175, and tables are $1,200 with proceeds going to fund scholarships for the next generation of Rust Bearcats.

“During Founders’ Week, we gather together to celebrate our rich history and welcome back alumni of all ages,” said said Dr. Johnny M. Moore, President of Rust College. “The gala is a prime opportunity for alumni and community supporters to support Rust’s continued success. Proceeds from ticket sales will enable young men and women to experience what makes Rust so special and leave their mark on our storied institution.”
