Reeves reports over $9 million available for his re-election
Wednesday, May 10, the manager for Tate Reeves’s campaign announced more than $9 million cash on hand to power the Governor’s 2023 re-election bid. Tate for Governor reported raising $1,739,308.69 during the January – April 30 filing period. Mississippians represent 92.4 percent of all contributors and account for over 88 percent of all contributions.
“Gov. Reeves has record support because Mississippians know he is the leader we need to keep the Mississippi momentum going,” said campaign manager Elliott Husbands. “They’re eager to invest in our campaign because of Tate’s lengthy track record of getting things done and delivering for our state’s residents.”
“I’m humbled by the strong show of support from Mississippians in every region of our state,” said Gov. Reeves. “I will continue to protect our values and ensure that Mississippi is the best place to live, work and raise a family. We’re going to keep up the Mississippi momentum. This is Mississippi’s time.”
Reeves is part of a three-person Republican primary race between him, Dr. John Witcher and David Grady Hardigree. The Democratic candidates are Brandon Presley and Gregory Wash.
