The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is looking into an officer-involved shooting incident in Indianola.
According to a news release, MBI said the incident took place about 6 a.m. Saturday morning, May 20, at a residence on BB King Road in Indianola.
Officers were called to respond to a domestic disturbance at the residence. No officers were injured during the incident. A minor occupant of the residence received significant injuries and has been transported to a local hospital.
MBI is currently assessing the incident and gathering evidence. Upon completing the investigation, agents will share their findings with the Attorney General’s Office.
