North MS TV Group Launches New Website for Local TV Programming
Ripley Community Television has launched a new website, expanding access to its local programming and live broadcasts online.
The station’s new site, RCTV19.com, went live this week and allows viewers to watch local news, sports, community events and other programming via livestream or on demand.
“We have been working on the relaunch of our online presence for RCTV 19 for several months and it is live as of today,” said Mississippi News Group Chief Technology Officer Chris Kleyla.
The website launch adds to RCTV19’s existing platforms, which include its mobile app, Roku and Amazon Fire streaming channels, local cable distribution, and social media.
Founded in 1999, RCTV19 — Ripley Community Television — provides coverage focused on Ripley and Tippah County, including local government meetings, school and civic updates, high school sports, and community events.
Programming includes breaking and local news, weather coverage, public affairs interviews, business features, and coverage of festivals, parades, and fundraisers throughout the county.
Viewers can watch RCTV19 on local cable Channel 19, stream live through Roku and Amazon Fire devices, or watch on demand through the new website.
The station is owned by Jon Ross Myers and Robert Farrow and is supported by a team of journalists, videographers, and community volunteers.
