McRae continues Unclaimed Money Tour in Southaven on Thursday

State Treasury returned a record-breaking $100 million in unclaimed money in just over four years


Aug. 6, 2024 – State Treasurer David McRae will continue a statewide tour to celebrate returning a record-breaking $100 million in unclaimed money in just over four years. The next event will be held at Coffee Central in Southaven on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Free coffee will be given to attendees. Unclaimed Money staff will be on hand to help residents find additional unclaimed money. The Treasury’s Mississippi College and Career Savings team will also be available to visit with families about saving for educational expenses.
