SPORTS ETC.: Former Lewisburg kicker, Tanner Gillis, a reserve punter for the University of Memphis Tigers, was named to the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll for stepping in as the Tigers’ placekicker in Saturday’s loss to Missouri. Gillis was called in as a placekicker as the Tigers’ other two kickers were out with injuries.
