Stenhouse wins at Talladega
Olive Branch native Ricky Stenhouse Jr. took home the title in the NASCAR Cup Series YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, edging Brad Keselowski and William Byron by a mere 0.006-second in a thrilling three-wide finish.
The race was part of the NASCAR playoffs, although Stenhouse is not playoff-eligible. It’s his fourth championship at superspeedways, and first since winning the Daytona 500 in 2023. It’s also the third non-playoff winner in five playoff races.
