Center Hill 34, Hernando 32
Notes: Lawrence Autry’s 9-yard touchdown with nine minutes left gave Center Hill a 34-25 lead, then a late rush that included Brody Martin of Hernando’s nine-yard scoring run with 3:36 remaining, followed by the Tigers’ recovery of an onside kick. However, the Center Hill defense held and gave the victory to the Mustangs. Hernando scored 18 first-quarter points for an 18-14 lead at halftime. Autry finished with two touchdown runs and Center Hill also got a 70-yard scoring pass from quarterback Jaden Logan to Roderick Jefferson.
Lewisburg 42, Itawamba AHS 14
Notes: Gunner Gilmore paced the Patriot offense with 265 yards total offense (43 rushing, 222 throwing), 4 more rushing touchdowns and a throwing score to Easton Fesmire, who had three catches for 61 yards and the touchdown. Levi Presley had a 90-yard kick return for a score, and carried 10 times for 51 yards.
Northpoint Christian 38, St. Benedict at Auburndale 0
DeSoto Central 20, Olive Branch 14
Notes: Eric Perry scored three touchdowns for DeSoto Central. The Jaguars held a 12-7 lead at halftime. Perry ran for 142 yards and threw for 75 yards in the win. Taurean Davis carried for 77 yards for the Jaguars. For Olive Branch, Raheem Vance threw for 158 yards and a score. Jerry Wall ran for 77 yards and a touchdown. Britten Traylor caught five passes for 100 and a touchdown.
Horn Lake 45, Oakhaven 0
Notes: First win for Horn Lake after a school-record 15 straight losses, dating back to last season. DJ Hunter Jr. threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Rod Fairlee caught three passes for 74 yards.
Lake Cormorant 30, Southaven 12
Notes: Gators remain the only unbeaten team in DeSoto County, while keeping Southaven winless for the year. Kamarion Franklin caught two touchdown passes for Lake Cormorant. The Gators led 16-0 at halftime. Joshaun Williams carried for 122 yards and a touchdown.
