DeSoto Central 29, Jonesboro, Ark. 13
Notes: DeSoto Central held a 15-7 lead at halftime and scored two more touchdowns in the second half of the victory, the Jaguars’ first win of the season. Eric Perry threw for two touchdowns and ran for 100 yards. Jordan Cannon rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
Tupelo 40, Hernando 0
Notes: Hernando’s Topher Jones ran for 34 yards to lead Hernando rushers in the game. Jones was 12 of 24 for 192 yards passing and Devyn Gaines caught one pass for 72 yards.
Olive Branch 35, Horn Lake 32
Notes: Britten Traylor’s 70-yard touchdown catch/run of a Hakeem Vance pass rallied Olive Branch with 1:08 remaining in the game for the victory. Horn Lake had taken a 32-28 lead with 2:11 left on a Rod Fairlee 52-yard touchdown pass reception and Brandon Brooks of Horn Lake returned a fumble 65 yards for another score with 3:15 left.
Lewisburg 33, Center Hill 0
Notes: Lewisburg quarterback Gunnar Gilmore threw for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory. Gilmore also ran for 26 yards and a pair of scores. Lukas Edwards was the leading rusher for Lewisburg with 58 yards. Lucas Gaschk caught five passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
South Panola 21, Southaven 12
Notes: South Panola used 21 second half points, including a pair of third-quarter touchdowns, to defeat the Chargers.
Lake Cormorant 43, North Panola 22
Notes: Kamarion Franklin caught his second touchdown pass of the season in the win, the Gators’ third straight of the year. Jarcoby Hopson scored twice for Lake Cormorant. Hopson completed one of two passes, resulting in a touchdown. He ran 34 times for 193 yards
