Southaven, Miss. — Northpoint Christian never found its footing against Ezell‑Harding’s relentless pace Tuesday night, falling 67–27 in a TSSAA Division II‑A sub‑state girls’ basketball matchup that ended the Lady Trojans’ season.
Ezell‑Harding controlled the game from the opening minutes, using defensive pressure and balanced scoring to build a 15–7 lead after one quarter and a 33–11 advantage at halftime. Northpoint managed just four points in the second period — a 3‑pointer from Robbye England and a free throw by Nailah Herrera — as the Lady Eagles stretched the margin behind Brilee Price, Lailah Willis, and Kaylen Kennedy.
The deficit widened to 56–20 by the end of the third quarter, prompting a running clock in the fourth. Ezell‑Harding continued to score in waves, finishing with eight players contributing and three hitting multiple 3‑pointers.

Herrera led Northpoint with 14 points, including seven in the fourth quarter. Bella Gagliano added six, all on third‑quarter 3‑pointers, while Sanai Herrera scored four.
Ezell‑Harding’s attack was paced by Willis with 16 points, Price with 11, and Kennedy with 8, supported by steady production from Aaliyah Dixon, Kyndal Armstrong, Addison Maynard, Kayla Bolden, and TiMiyah Terrell.
The win sends Ezell‑Harding into Friday’s state quarterfinals against The King’s Academy of Seymour, Tennessee.
