New Starkville High School baseball coach Mark Monaghan posted a thank you note to DeSoto Central players, alumni, and fans on Saturday after this week being named the new coach at his hometown high school alma mater.
Monaghan is leaving DeSoto Central, where coached baseball for 11 seasons and won three MHSAA 6A state championships.
