Memphis to host Banana Ball phenomenon next March

Savannah Bananas’ New Championship League Stops at AutoZone Park for Two Games

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The wildly popular and high-energy world of “Banana Ball” is officially coming to Memphis, with AutoZone Park scheduled to host two games in early 2026, the league announced late Thursday.

The global phenomenon, made famous by the Savannah Bananas, will bring its unique brand of non-stop action and entertainment to the home of the Memphis Redbirds on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Memphis was selected as a stop for the inaugural season of the brand-new Banana Ball Championship League (BBCL), as revealed during the 2026 Banana Ball City Selection Show, which aired on ESPN2. The two-game series at AutoZone Park will feature the Party Animals taking on one of the league’s newest expansion teams, the Indianapolis Clowns.

Banana Ball has redefined the sport with unique rules, including a two-hour time limit, no bunting, and fans catching foul balls for outs. The entertainment-first experience features dancing players, surprise guests, and in-game antics, drawing comparisons to the Harlem Globetrotters. The 2026 BBCL season will include six teams playing 60 games across the country, culminating in a championship series in October.

Ticket Information for Fans

Fans hoping to purchase tickets must enter the official ticket lottery by the deadline of Oct. 31, 2025, at bananaball.com/tickets. Entry to the lottery does not guarantee a chance to purchase tickets but is the required first step. Tickets will go on sale approximately two months before the scheduled event dates for those randomly selected in the lottery.

Standard tickets for the games are priced starting at $35. All individual ticket sales for the games are being handled exclusively by Fans First Entertainment, the management company for the Bananas and all BBCL teams.
