Hustle training camp begins, roster released

Training camp for the NBA G League’s Memphis Hustle began Monday, Oct. 27 at FedExForum in Memphis. The team announced its training camp roster Monday morning.

Training camp will be a first for new Hustle head coach Rob Sanicola, who was named to the position in October. Last season, he was a lead assistant for former head coach T.C. Swirsky.

Before joining the professional ranks with the Hustle, Sanicola had a long and successful career as a head coach at the NCAA Division III level in Maine. He was head coach for three seasons at the University of Southern Maine (2021-2024), and before that at St. Joseph’s College of Maine (2003-2021).

The regular season for the Hustle will start Saturday, Nov. 8 at home against the Mexico City Capitanes. Two games against Mexico City later in the season have been moved back to the Landers Center instead of Mexico City. The move was made due to scheduling conflicts, according to the league office.
