Hustle finish home back‑to‑back tonight against Texas
The Memphis Hustle (1-7) look to close out a home back‑to‑back tonight at 7 p.m. when they host the Texas Legends, following a 119-107 loss to the Sioux Falls Skyforce (6-4) on Tuesday night at Landers Center.
Nate Hinton led Memphis with 25 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Tyler Burton added 19 points, while Charlie Brown Jr. posted a double‑double with 14 points and 10 assists. Lawson Lovering contributed 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Evan Gilyard finished with 12 points off the bench.
Sioux Falls was powered by Trevor Keels’ 29 points. Josh Christopher added 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists, and Jahmir Young scored 23 points with eight assists. Dain Dainja provided 13 points and eight rebounds in a strong bench performance.
The Skyforce opened the game on a 26-16 run and built an 18‑point lead in the second quarter. Memphis responded with a 17-8 surge to pull within single digits at halftime. The Hustle trimmed the deficit to 83-82 late in the third quarter before Sioux Falls answered with 10 straight points and later pushed the lead to 16 in the fourth.
Memphis assisted on 26 of its 39 field goals and scored 27 points off turnovers. Sioux Falls held advantages in the paint (60-52) and in fast‑break scoring (33-17) while shooting 54.4 percent from the field and converting 22 points off Hustle turnovers.
