Hustle fall to Blue, rematch on Sunday

The Memphis Hustle hope to rebound from a Friday night loss to the Oklahoma City Blue when the two teams meet again Sunday afternoon, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Landers Center in Southaven.
The Hustle, now 12-16 for the NBA G League regular season, were defeated 107-90 by the 16-12 Blue, a game that opened a five-game homestand.
Adonis Arms led the Hustle with 22 points and eight rebounds. Michael Devoe tallied 13 points and six rebounds. Davon Reed finished with 11 points and eight rebounds. Lucas Williamson added 11 points off the bench.
On assignment from the Thunder, Ousmane Dieng led the Blue with 25 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Two-way transfer Olivier Sarr tallied 17 points and 16 rebounds. Hunter Maldonado contributed 15 points off the bench.
Oklahoma City scored the first eight points of the game as part of a 17-7 run. After trailing by 25, the Hustle clawed back to cut the deficit to six, 61-67, midway through the third quarter before the Blue scored 11 unanswered to retake a double-digit lead. The Blue led by as many as 30 in the fourth quarter.
The Blue outscored Memphis 54-38 in the paint and outrebounded the Hustle 69-44. Memphis scored 15 points off turnovers.
