MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Hustle have acquired forward Eric Dixon from the Greensboro Swarm in exchange for guard Evan Gilyard and the returning player rights to forward/center Armando Bacot, the team announced Tuesday.
Dixon (6‑6, 255) has appeared in 27 games with four starts for the Swarm this season, averaging 11.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 18.4 minutes. He is shooting 45.8% from the field and 38.0% from three‑point range.
A standout at Villanova, Dixon led the nation in scoring during the 2024‑25 NCAA season, averaging 23.3 points and 5.1 rebounds as a senior. He earned Third Team All‑American honors and finished his collegiate career as Villanova’s all‑time leading scorer with 2,314 points before going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Gilyard (5‑10, 170) played 29 games for the Hustle this season, making 15 starts and averaging 10.1 points and 3.7 assists in 22.9 minutes.
Bacot (6‑11, 240), whose returning rights were included in the deal, appeared in 50 games for Memphis last season, averaging 16.8 points and 9.5 rebounds.
